Growing Health
Melody Acres, a small, family owned organic hobby farm located in Southwestern Pennsylvania, has been serving the local community since 2011. We specialize in growing rare organic heirloom vegetable, herb and companion plants that will provide the best tasting and healthiest food for your family. We believe in sustainability and our collaboration with nature provides organic plants and food that give back to our health and the health of our planet.

Our Owner
Christine Yankel is a Veteran of The United States Marine Corps and the owner and "Chief Farmer in Residence" of Melody Aces Hobby Farm LLC. She began her love of gardening at a young age and learned to nurture plants from the greatest gardener she has ever met, her mother. A lifelong learner, Christine has sought leaders in every area of gardening, soil biology, and regenerative agriculture to learn from and has passed that extensive knowledge on to her community through classes and volunteer work. She opened Melody Acres Hobby Farm eleven years ago with the goal of inspiring her community to organically care for their land by falling in love with rare heirloom plants. Encouraging others to care for a garden, she believes, is the first step in changing the way we treat ourselves, our bodies, our families, our community, and our beautiful earth.
